How to get to Platamonas

Platamonas, Πλαταμώνας, is a town and sea-side resort in south Pieria, Central Macedonia, Greece. Platamon is situated on the Aegean Sea coast, 25 km southeast of Mount Olympus.

The nearest airport is International Airport Makedonia in Thessaloniki. Thessaloniki is 104km north of Platamonas, about 1 hour by train - 1 hour and 10 minutes by bus - 1 hour 30 by car.

From Britain, many airlines are operating between London/Manchester/Edinburgh and Thessaloniki, either with direct or one stop flights:

From France, it is more expensive as there are fewer airlines doing a direct flight from Paris to Thessaloniki: Ryanair (from Beauvais), Aegean Airlines, Transavia, Air France...
